Head Chef Jan Sochor
Jan is the heart of our kitchen and brings a wealth of experience from renowned restaurants throughout the Czech Republic. From Prague’s Nostress Cafe to TowerPark Prague to the Johann W winery, he has left his mark everywhere. As chef and operator of the Městská restaurant in Světlá nad Sázavou, he has perfected not only his culinary skills but also the organisation of gastronomic events.
Jan’s passion for cooking and attention to detail guarantee an unforgettable gourmet experience.
Local ingredients
Our cuisine is based on first-class ingredients from local sources. We raise Zwartbles sheep and Wagyu and Aberdeen Angus cattle on our farm, grow fresh herbs, and carefully select the highest quality ingredients from local farmers. This allows us to bring you authentic flavours, maximum freshness, and honest cuisine that honours nature and traditional craftsmanship.
The perfect space for your event
Whether you are planning a wedding, family celebration, team building event or stag/hen party, our premises are at your disposal. In addition to the restaurant with a capacity of 200 people, you can also rent our wine cellar or distillery.
